Car shows are about much more than trophies.

They are about the people, the stories, the history and the countless hours that go into preserving, restoring and building the vehicles we all enjoy.

That is why fair and consistent judging matters.

Recently, I had the opportunity to serve as a judge at the Fallis Show & Shine, and it was a terrific event with a great variety of vehicles and passionate owners.

Following the event, organizer Rick Wagner shared this review:

“Axel did a fantastic job judging at the Fallis Show & Shine. I have had numerous comments from entrants on how fairly judged he was. He treated all cars equally and he did not show any favoritism on a particular make of vehicle.”

That feedback meant a great deal to me.

When judging a show, my goal is to approach every vehicle with the same level of respect and attention, regardless of make, model, value or personal preference. Every vehicle has its own story, and every owner deserves to know that their vehicle is being evaluated fairly.
